Financial Aid Information
Sitka Fine Arts Camp’s financial aid program is intended to help Alaskan students who are interested in furthering their artistic development and who would be unable to attend camp without additional financial assistance. More than twenty percent of students at Sitka Fine Arts Camp receive some kind of financial aid. Scholarships from Sitka Fine Arts Camp are only awarded based on financial need. All students who apply for financial assistance will be considered. Scholarships cover cost of tuition, room, and board at camp, but do not cover travel expenses. Only Alaska residents will be considered for financial aid.
Regional scholarships are provided by community organizations in Alaska for local students to attend Sitka Fine Arts Camp. These regional scholarships are based on both artistic merit and financial need, and may be applied to directly through the host organization. Students are encouraged to research grant and scholarship programs provided by their local governments, foundations, banks, church groups, and school groups, as well as artistic and educational organizations to help supplement the cost of their tuition.
